Strong odours are produced when blood comes into contact with synthetic materials such as plastic. The chemical reaction between our blood and the chemical components contained in sanitary pads or tampons is therefore responsible for the sometimes strong or unpleasant odours. We must not above all, associate our menstrual blood with foul-smelling garbage & embarrassing waste!

When blood comes into contact with natural fibres such as cotton, the smell is much more mild and neutral.

Unlike other brands of menstrual panties, we prefer to avoid these procedures because there are no studies yet that prove that there is no risk to consumer health.

The panties are made of 94% cotton and 6% lycra. For women who are very sensitive and have skin irritation related to dyes in underwear, we recommend opting for our dye-fee removable pads made of 100% organic cotton.
